 Merino wool fibers are very fine, making them soft and comfortable against the skin, unlike some other types of wool that can be itchy.  Merino wool is surprisingly durable, able to withstand wear and tear without losing its shape or quality and is a renewable resource, as sheep are sheared annually and is also biodegradable. 
Merino wool is also known for being hypoallergenic, wrinkle-resistant, and offering some UV protection. 
Merino wool is highly effective at wicking away moisture (sweat) from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable even during strenuous activities. It helps regulate body temperature by trapping warm air in its fibers in cold conditions and allowing excess heat to escape in warmer conditions, making it suitable for both summer and winter. Merino wool naturally resists odors, as it absorbs odor molecules and releases them upon washing. This reduces the need for frequent washing.
